“Barbie healing rattle”

Barbie is a very powerful icon, of how I was raised as a woman, of body image, of career choices. I wanted to use this power for good rather than evil. This idea combined with my daily life in the health care field led to the creation of a Barbie healing rattle. The transformation of something toxic to a healing tool was the idea behind this piece.
