From her humble origins as a simple exercise in reconstructed fashion, this dear creature quickly took on a life all her own. Her dusky wings, made of foliage, lie temporarily at rest, and the sweet halo of her dreded locks peeks out over the top of an elaborate hand-sewn headpiece made of layered tutus, beads, and dyed cord. From the back of her head blossoms a flower fashioned from a tulle skirt, with beaded pistils anchored in its center. Her outfit is completed by vintage gray stockings and classic mid-calf boots. At once traditional and ultra-modern, she is a fairy for all times and places, a relic of ages past and future.
