Barbie and Ken commissioned this piece in 2013 for display at their annual Halloween Gala. They asked for something in the Latin-American tradition wherein small ceramic skeletons are depicted as if alive and engaged in all sorts of activities. "Barbie and I both took Latin and agreed Momento Mori,  'remember that you must die,'  would remind us every day to be grateful for our incredible good fortune," says Ken.
