This is an oil on canvas painting of Barbie as Saint Barbara. The putti floating around her were ripped off from a Boucher painting. Saint Barbara was de-sainted in Vatican II, along with St. Nicholas. Her story is really similar to Rapunzel, so I thought Barbie, with her cute short hair, could represent her namesake after the hair cut and martyrdom.
