2011 Call to Artists
The 9th Annual San Francisco Altered Barbie Exhibition 2011!

Where: 50 Shotwell, San Francisco, CA
When: October 26 - November 20, 2011
Wednesday-Saturday 1-8pm, Sunday: 1-5pm
Deadline: Now to September 25, 2011
How
1. Join Altered Barbie. Sign-up or renew your Official Altered Barbie membership here.
You will need a credit card or Paypal account and the usual contact information Name, Bio, Address, Phone, Email etc.)
2. Submit Art. Log-In to submit artwork through the site for curation.
You will need to provide the following for artwork submit:
Images of the work (900 x 1200 suggested)
Title of Piece
Description
Price
Medium
Dimensions
Please list the equipment you will supply for the piece (if applicable), and its display and power needs. Please be as detailed as possible: cables, internet hook up, lap top, projector, speakers, monitor, etc.
3. Wait. After the submissions deadline artists will be notified by email which of their pieces have been accepted for the show.
Load in: Monday, October 24, 2011: 1-8
Load out: Sunday, November 20, 2011 - after 5pm Monday November 21, 2011 noon-2pm
Details on Load In / Out will be sent out with acceptance into the show.
Sales & Split: If a piece is sold, the artist will receive 50% of the proceeds. All payment will be posted within 30 days from the closing date of the exhibit, barring unforeseen transaction delays. All work for sale will be clearly marked.
Insurance: Although every precaution will be taken to insure the safety and security of accepted art, please be aware that pieces are submitted at your own risk Altered Barbie does not insure submitted work against theft or damage.
